Dave Horn

"I am 53 years old and after three operations on my right knee I have gotten out of the habit of training and put on over 2 stone in weight. The third operation was a success and I now want to become more active again as I used to enjoy sport including cycling, walking etc. but the pain from my knee made it more of a chore. I'm going to be a Grandad in April and I want to get fit to be able to enjoy seeing my Grandchild grow up."

Sarah Shaw

"I want to make a change because I've recently been offered a place to study my dream job of midwifery at university in September. I've always been overweight (obese) and never been in the right mindset to get fit but I've decided this year is my year and the start of a new me. I'm currently a size 20/22 and I do not want to have to order my student midwife uniform in a tent size! To finally get fit and to start my journey towards the career I've always wanted. My children are 9 months old and almost 2yrs old and I want to be fit before they get old enough to realise mummy can't keep up with them. I really want to be able to be fit enough to know I can go for a job without being out of breath within seconds. I've found it hard to get in the right mindset but I'm competitive and knowing that I'm being watched and am in a competition will really spur me into motion and will surely give me the motivation to carry on after the four weeks. This opportunity will change my life."

Ian Kitchman

"In 2010 I had a massive stroke aged 38.. told would never walk again.. I did, I got better and went from 22 stone to 14 stone from crazy diets etc. I have since gained 5 stone and wish to learn to lose it safely with proper nutrition and sensible exercise."

Ian Kitchman

Sue Richards

"I would like to make a change in 2018 as I have being given the all clear from cancer  I have put 2 1/2 stone on from chemotherapy and steroids and now feel it's time to start again."

Sue Richards

Martyn Robinson

"Recently we've gotten into the habit of getting the kids down to bed and slobbing out on the sofa filling our face... like a walrus gorging on chocolate coated fish! I'm starting to look like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man's hairier cousin! It's honestly getting beyond a joke now. Sick of looking disappointingly at the back of the rack when clothes shopping. I kept it reasonable when at the gym, kids coming along soon swapped the money for gym membership for nappies etc. Needs must I suppose. Want to get back on the wagon though!"

Martyn Robinson

Ruth Simpson

"I have struggled all my life with my weight and  recently seem to have piled on the pounds! I am the heaviest I have ever been and I really need this year to be the year I make a change as I'm getting married in December. I haven't known where to even begin making my transformation and don't want to look back at wedding photos and be disappointed with how I look! I'm also dreading feeling rubbish on the day surrounded by my gorgeous bridesmaids! I would love some help and guidance to kick start my way to being a beautiful bride and getting myself healthier and happier! I'm ready to work hard for it as I'm so determined but I feel I need help to achieve my goal!
