People will be able to connect with their City of York Council ward councillors in new ways this weekend at Gale Farm Court and Acomb Explore Library. Residents will be able to put any questions they may have to councillors in a drop in style event rather than the previous ward meeting format.

Westfield ward councillors and the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be serving refreshments to residents at Gale Farm Court during a coffee afternoon on Friday 17 May. This will give residents a chance to voice any opinions they may have to the councillors and the Police. The council’s street environment team will also be on hand to take any suggestions from residents about how the courtyard garden can be improved.

There will be a drop-in ward forum in the Acomb Explore Library on Saturday 18 May from 10am-2pm. Residents are invited to pop in for a chat with the councillors and talk about any issues they may have and help identify the ward priorities. There will also be information about:
