Four Arrested After Malton and Old Malton Cricket Club Fire

Police in Malton have arrested four people in connection with a suspicious fire which destroyed a cricket pavilion.
Firefighters were alerted to the blaze at Malton and Old Malton Cricket Club, on Old Malton Road, at about 12.45am today.
Fire investigators quickly established that the fire had been started deliberately and called for police assistance.
Three males aged 30, 26 and 17, and a 17-year-old girl, were arrested in the nearby area at around 2am.
Following questioning, the two 17-year-olds were released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The two men remain in custody at this time.
