The Future of Healthcare in the Vale of York's Revealed.

People in York, Easingwold and Selby could see fewer health services being provided in hospital.

Those with diabetes, skin conditions or back pain could now be treated by their family doctor instead of in hospital.

Its part of the plan for services from April when new bodies take over from NHS North Yorkshire and York.

Dr Mark Hayes from NHS Vale of York says it's possible to make improvements and cut costs, and added that their plans for the coming year were well received.
