Police Investigating Selby Attack on Teenager Make Arrest

A 19 year old man is currently on bail after being arrested by police investigating an attack on a teenager in Selby.

A passing police officer found the 19 year old victim unconscious in Finkle Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The teenager was taken to York Hospital and treated for injuries including grazing to the ear and a headache.

CCTV is believed to show a man running across Selby Market Place shortly after the incident is said to have happened.
