Unemployment Up in North Yorkshire but Down in York

The number of people out of work has gone up in North Yorkshire but fallen in York.

Last month in North Yorkshire, 8,785 people were claiming Job Seekers Allowance, that's up by 269 from November.

In York, the number of people signed on was 2,850 which is 118 people off the dole queue compared to November.
