Fadmoor Man Offers Reward After Bikes Stolen

A man from Ryedale has offered a reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for stealing his mountain bikes.
Overnight between 20 December and 21 December 2012, thieves broke into an outbuilding at the man’s property on Main Street, in Fadmoor, and stole three mountain bikes worth around £8000.
The man is offering a reward of £800 for any information relating to the theft of his bikes.
The bikes which were stolen are a Scott Spark 20, an Airborne Mosquito and a Specialized Rockhopper.
Officers are appealing to anyone with information about the burglary to come forward.
PC Andrew Pomfret, of Malton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If anyone saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the burglary, I urge you to get in touch with the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
“The victim is understandably keen to have his bikes returned to him and is even prepared to offer a reward for the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible.
“Any information could be vital to the investigation and I would also like to hear from you if you have been offered these bikes for sale.”
