Boroughbridge High School's choir are performing an original song in York Mister today to raise money for Martin House Charity, a charity that provides support for children with life threatening illnesses.
The song was originally written by teacher Heath Lanzillotti to raise money for a boy with cerebral palsy. Mr Lanzillotti says that now the school choir is going to record it and sell it on iTunes with all the proceeds going to the charity Martin House.
Several local primary schools will be performing at the Minster today including Roecliffe, Kirk Hammerton & Marton-cum-Grafton.
Mr Lanzillotti hopes to showcase all the work his choir has done to help raise more money for Martin House.
