CCTV released as Investigation Continues into a Fatal Collision Near Thirsk

Officers investigating a fatal road traffic collision near Thirsk have released an image of a van they need to trace.
North Yorkshire Police say the driver of the vehicle is believed to be a vital witness to the collision, which occurred on the A61 between Skipton-On-Swale and Busby Stoop at 7pm on Friday 26 October 2012.
Police say the accident involved a black Honda Civic, heading towards Skipton-On-Swale and a blue Yamaha motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction. Adding that as a result of the incident the motorcycle caught fire causing a significant blaze directly behind the van officers need to trace.
Officers have confirmed that the 22-year-old local man arrested in connection the incident remains on police bail.
Traffic Sergeant Julian Pearson, of North Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Group, said: "If you are the driver of the van that has been caught on CCTV, I urge you to contact the police straight away as you are a vital witness to the collision. I need your help to establish how the collision occurred.
"I am also asking anyone else who can help to identify the van or the driver to come forward and contact the police straight away."
