North Yorkshire Police Search for Man Missing from Hospital.

Graham Roskell

9:23am 5th November 2012

Police searching for a missing Harrogate man have released new images and are urging the public to check their properties for any sign of him.

North Yorkshire Police say Graham Roskell, aged 65, from Kirk Hammerton, was reported missing on the morning of Saturday 3 November 2012, after leaving Harrogate District Hospital, where he was receiving treatment.

Officers have been conducting extensive searches for Mr Roskell, however he has still not been found.

Police are urging people to check sheds, outbuildings and garages in case Mr Roskell has taken shelter in them over night.

Inspector Bruce Prendergast, of Harrogate police, said: "Mr Roskell has been missing overnight and we need to find him urgently.

"He may have taken shelter somewhere as the night drew in and I would urge everyone to take a few minutes to check their outbuildings and help us with our search.

“We don’t want Mr Roskell to spend another night out in the open; therefore it is vital that anyone with any information, no matter how small, contacts the police as soon as possible.”

Officers have also released CCTV images of Mr Roskell leaving the hospital in the hope that it will jog someone’s memory.

North Yorkshire Police say Mr Roskell is white, with a stocky build and short grey hair.

They add that when he was last seen he was wearing a green patterned jumper, grey trousers and black shoes. It is also believed that he has a blue dressing gown with him.
