A pub landlord from York is one of 54 thousand people taking part in Great North Run today.

But Lee Daggett only decided to take part four weeks ago when another runner dropped out.

He's been training hard to raise money for Cancer Research, after his daughter had a bone marrow transplant last year.

Lee, who's the manager of the Priory Inn says he's determined to finish.

If you want to donate to cancer research you can go online to http://supportus.cancerresearchuk.org/donate/ or you can donate by taking it in to the Priory Inn on Micklegate in York.
