The landlord, who owned the flat in Norton where two jockeys died, will face health and safety charges.
In September 2009, Jan Wilson and Jamie Kyne died after a blaze broke out in their flat on Buckrose Court.
37 year old Peter Brown was found guilty of their manslaughter in 2010.
Now it's emerged the landlord of the flats has been charged for breaches relating to fire safety.
He's expected to appear at Scarborough Magistrate Court next month.
