18 suspects charged in drugs conspiracy investigation
North Yorkshire Police have charged 18 people with conspiracy to supply drugs.
During a long-running investigation officers seized over £200,000 worth of drugs and a large quantity of cash as they targeted a group of people suspected of supplying Class A and Class B substances in York and Wetherby.
The suspects are all due to appear in court this week.

Three men from Harrogate aged 27, 28 and 29 are due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates' Court along with two men from Bradford aged 34 and 39.
They are charged in connection with the Wetherby conspiracy.
Friday 15 June 2012
10 men and two women from York are due to appear at York Magistrates' Court charged with various offences relating to the conspiracy.
A 25-year-old man and a 33-year-old man are charged with conspiracy to supply class A and Class B drugs.
Five men aged 22, 35, 42, 30 and 32 face charges of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.
A 31-year-old man is charged with conspiracy to supply Class B drugs and production of Class B drugs.
A 43-year-old man answers charges of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs and money laundering.
A 57-year-old man is charged with production of Class B drugs.
Two 23-year-old woman face charges of money laundering.
Wednesday 13 June and Saturday 16 June 2012
A 28-year-old man from York who has been linked to both conspiracies will appear on both the above dates charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs and money laundering.
Three other men from York, aged 52, 20 and 30 have also been arrested in connection with the investigation and remain on police bail as enquiries continue.
