York based Network Rail fined

A £4,000,000 fine.

That's what York based Network Rail has to pay for health and safety breaches with caused the Grayrigg train crash.

The Virgin train came off the track in February 2007 close to the Cumbrian village.

84 year old Margaret Masson from Glasgow died in the crash.

A further 86 people were injured.
