£40,000 painting stolen from Market Weighton

Humberside Police are appealing for help in locating a high value painting which has been stolen from a property in Goodmanham Wold, Market Weighton in York.
The canvas oil painting of a white horse is said to be 15 inches square in size and in a heavy gold wooden frame. It is valued at an estimated £40,000.
The owner, recalls the last time he saw the artwork to be when he moved into the property in August 2008.
The painting was reported missing to police on Thursday 26 January 2012, after the owner went into storage room and noticed it was not there.
Police have conducted a number of enquires but have not yet been able to trace the painting and are now appealing for assistance in trying to locate it.
