Fresh appeal to trace York shoplifting suspects

York police are renewing their appeal to identify a man and a woman suspected of shoplifting.
The pair were spotted on Thursday 2 February 2012, in the Monks Cross branch of Debenhams.
It is thought that they picked up two bottles of perfume, valued at approximately £75, and left the store without paying for them.
The woman is described as white, aged in her mid 40s, around 5ft 5in tall with a heavy build and brown hair.
The man is white, aged in his 60s, 5ft 9in tall with a slim build and grey hair.
PC Tony Barnes, of the York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:
“If you recognise either of the people caught on CCTV please contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.”
