12:01am 11th November 2011
Every year at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month we remember the end of the First World War and all those who gave their lives then and since.
A short Armistice Day service will be held at Imphal Barracks, Fulford on Friday 11th November 2011 to remember the British servicemen and women who have been killed or injured on active duty.
An address will be given by Lieutenant Colonel Colin Vaudin, Commanding Officer of York's 2 Signal Regiment and the Brigade's Padre, Reverend Gough at 10:55am outside Garrison Head Quarters.
This will be followed by a two minute silence at 11:00am.
All available military and civilian staff will be in attendance.
