Woman dead after East Riding crash

A woman has died after a crash in the East Riding.
Two vehicles were involved in the incident on the A163 near Holme upon Spalding Moor this morning.
The road has been shut since about 7.45am and police investigators are still on the scene.
Police received a call at 0744hrs today (Friday 04 November) reporting a serious collision on the A163 at Holme on Spalding Moor.
Two vehicles were involved - a blue Vauxhall Corsa driven by a woman and a black BMW driven by a man.
The Corsa driver sadly sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fire and ambulance attended along with police.
The road has been closed off and is expected to remain closed for some time to allow collision investigation officers to carry out an examination of the scene and for the vehicles involved to be removed.
Road closures are at Bubwith and Wharter End junction on the A163.
