Pickering man named as victim of fatal crash

Police have named a man from Pickering as being the victim of a fatal crash 17 days ago.

45 year old, Colin Agar, was killing in a collision in the Crossgates area of Scarborough on June 11th 2011.

He was riding a black Yamaha motorcycle at the time which collided with a black Kia Sorrento on Centurion Way in the Crossgates area at 1.20pm.

The Kia Sorento was travelling northbound on Scarborough Road and the Yamaha was travelling west bound along Scarborough Road at the junction with Centurion Way.

The driver of the Kia was not injured.

Traffic Constable Emma Wallace, of the force’s Roads Policing Group, said:

“I have already spoken to a number of people who witnessed the collision. I still need to speak to anyone who else who witnessed the incident and appeal to them to come forward straight away.”
