Crash at Scotch Corner.

A biker's been seriously injured in a crash at Scotch Corner.
It happened yesterday morning and the motorcyclist, a 52 year old from Northumberland, was airlifted to hospital.
He's got head, neck, back and chest injuries and is in a a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle he collided with, who was in a silver Hyundai Matrix, was uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, or anyone who saw either of the vehicles prior to impact to contact them.
Investigation officer, TC Neil Cholmondeley said:
"The junction will have been quite busy at that time on a Sunday morning, I am appealing for anyone who either witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles prior to the crash to contact me as soon as possible. The victim has sustained very serious injuries and it is important that we establish exactly what happened."
