Jailed for 4 years for a vicious pub attack in York.

That's the fate of 21 year old Dean Barrett from Tang Hall who glassed a man in the face at The Lowther Pub, scarring him for life.

The attack happened last May, whilst Barrett was out of bail for committing ABH.

Barrett had already served a 12 month jail sentence for chasing a man out of a pub and hitting him with a glass.

Then, whilst he was out on bail, he attacked the victim Peter Rodgers leaving him with an inch-long shard of glass buried in his face.

Mr Rodgers now has permanent nerve damage.

Barrett's been jailed for 4 years for wounding with intent to commit GBH.
