Barton-Le-Willows burglary

Police are asking for the public’s help following a burglary in Barton-le-Willows.

It occurred at a house in the village between 8am and 4pm on Monday 9th May 2011.

The burglars stole a quantity of jewellery including an oval faced wristwatch with a gold strap, a Raine and Wheel wristwatch with a black leather strap, a collection of costume jewellery, a gold necklace with a three stone drop, a silver necklace with an S shaped pendant decorated with black and white stones, an antique silver bracelet and a leather jewellery box. The thieves also stole a turquoise pillow case.

Detective Constable Adam Normanton, of Malton CID, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to come forward as a I need to speak to them.

“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who knows where the pillow case is now.

“If you have any information about this burglary please contact me as soon as possible.”
