North Yorkshire police react to Winsor review

The North Yorkshire police union has been reacting to plans forces face wage cuts of up to 25 percent.

A review of salaries estimates the biggest losers would see their pay slashed by up to 4-thousand pounds a year.

North Yorkshire Police Federation have called the plans "too fast and not-thought out".

and Chief Exec Mark Botham says staff are already paying the price...

The Police Authority here say they think the timing is right for the review.

and will "ensure it meets the needs of our communities".
