Tourism slump in York

York had a tourism slump in December - a time when the city usually draws in thousands.
The latest stats show there was a decrease in hotel occupancy by 15 per cent.
But officials say the cancellations were largely due to the bad weather,
In contrast September saw York's highest rate of occupancy in local hotel at 88 per cent.
