Pulling out the stops for charity...

A fancy dress walk will take place through the streets of Selby later all in aid of Children in Need.

Organised by Horton Housing - a group that supports homeless people in the district - they're hoping to raise about five-hundred-pounds.

They're also doing a table top sale, some Pudsey games and a bit of waxing for the men.

The day will start at 10:30am at Community House Selby.

Meanwhile,

York's recycling collection crews are pulling out all the stops for charity.

In support of this year's Children in Need campaign they're taking a specially decorated 'spotty' vehicle around Clifton and Skelton.

Staff will also be dressed head-to-toe in brightly coloured spotty attire.

They are being sponsored by colleagues at the City of York Council.
