Conmen target the elderly in Malton and Thirsk

Concern for the elderly after three pensioners in Thirsk and Malton were conned by bogus water official yesterday.
In Carlton Miniott a 82 year old woman was left guarding a tap whilst con-men raided her upstairs bedrooms.
And then again last night three men wearing suits called at the home of an 84 year old woman in Malton.
The police say "distraction burglaries are bad enough, but to target elderly and vulnerable is despicable."
The suspects from the Carlton Miniott incident are described as, white, mid-20's, 5'9, black short straight hair, slim build wearing a black suit, white shirt, black shoes and grey cloth gloves.
Second suspect; male, white, 19 years old, 5'5", black short straight hair, slim build, black suit and black shoes, grey cloth gloves.
From the Malton offences, one of the suspects is described as dark-skinned, 5'8", handsome, full in the mouth with heavy lips.
