Police trace two vehicles in investigation of York bikers death

Police in York want to trace two vehicles after a biker died on the city's ring road.
26 year old Thomas Lee Hodgon from the Clifton area of York died as a result of the collision.
Officers investigation a fatal collision on the A1237 on Monday 30th August 2010 are renewing their appeal for witnesses after identifying a further two vehicles they would like to trace.
Officers believe that the rider of a high powered sports bike may have information vital to the enquiry and are appealing for him to come forward. The bike is believed to have been in the Clifton Moor area around the time of the collision and anyone who may have seen it prior to the collision or afterwards is urged to contact the police.
Traffic Sergeant Andy Quigley, who's investigating the incident, would also like to trace the driver of a Mitsubishi Shogun or Pakero which is also believe to have been travelling on the A1237 at the time.
TS Quigley said: "I am keen to trace the drivers of both vehicles as they may be able to provide information that can help us to make significant progress with the investigation. Anyone who saw either vehicle or has any idea who was driving them, please contact the police with any information you may have."
