12:25pm 3rd September 2010
Were you in Northallerton's swimming pool last wednesday afternoon?
If so, police say they urgently need to speak to you.
North Yorkshire officers are still investigating Kaimen Ward's tragic death. The eight year old boy died at Hambleton Leisure Centre that day, after getting into difficulties during a family swim.
They're working alongside health and safety officers to find out what led to his death but Detective Inspector Keith Ruff, from Northallerton's CID has told Star, "There are still some people who were in the pool who haven't contacted us. Even if people did not witness Kaimen's tragic death, I would still like to speak with them so that I can establish a clear picture of the afternoon's events."
If you were there please call Northallerton CID on 0845-60-60-247 as soon as you can.
Kaimen's funeral will take place in All Saint's Parish Church, in Northallerton, on Monday, at 11am.
