The case of a York couple, accused of holding a man with arthritis captive and stealing his money, has taken an unusual twist.
On Monday the trial of 27 year old Rocky Gordon Parker from Acomb and Savannah Parker, who's 30 and from New Earswick, started at York Crown Court.
They're accused of holding Vincent Powell captive overnight last February and stealing money from his house.
The pair have now pleaded guilty to robbery and theft, but deny false imprisonment.
For the two charges they've pleaded guilty to they'll be sentenced in September.
The courts say the prosecution will then decide how they'll proceed, with the charge of false imprisonment.
