Appeal following a violent assault

Appeal following a violent assault

6:28am 4th August 2010

A Pocklington man, who was violently assaulted last month, is making a personal appeal for help.

53 year old Michael Brown was left permanently blinded in one eye and with a skull fracture after being attacked at a local motel.

Brown was attacked on the 8th of July at the Yorkway Motel in Pocklington.

Someone had crashed into his car in the car-park. He checked the damage and when he returned to the motel, he was struck with an unknown weapon fracturing his skull and damaging his eye.

No one has ever been caught for the attack so today Michael's making a personal appeal for help.

The suspect is described as white and aged between 19 to 25.
