Police reveal, TEN people arrested after dawn raids in York

An update now on the police dawn raid yesterday morning.

Officers have confirmed ten people were arrested in connection with theft, burglary and handling stolen goods.

During the operation, officers seized a number of items; including an axe and two crossbows, a motorbike and 6 mountain bikes and 195 mobile phones from one house in Rawcliffe.

Search teams also found what is believed to be class A drugs at an address in Tang Hall and a large cannabis grow in an attic in Clifton.

DETAILS OF THE ARRESTS:

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs.
A 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft, conspiracy to steal, theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving.
A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
A 27-year-old man, a 26-year-old man, a 17-year-old youth, a 33-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were all arrested on suspicion of theft of a cycles.
