A North Yorkshire based soldier's being laid to rest today.

It's the funeral later of a North Yorkshire based solider who died after being injured in a blast in Afghanistan.
Bombardier Stephen Gilbert, who trained at Topcliff near Thirsk, was wounded whilst on patrol in Helmand Province on the 10th of June.
He died 16 days later in a Birmingham hospital on Armed Forces Day.
Stephen's family and friends will pay thier final respects at a service in his home town of Dumfris.
