Yorkshire man jailed for Ritz scam

A jobless lorry driver's from East Yorkshire's been convicted of trying to sell the Ritz Hotel in London for £250 million pounds in an elaborate fraud.
A court heard 49 year old Anthony Lee from Goole tried to convince a potential buyer he was a "close associate" of the owners of the prestigious hotel.
Following today's verdict, after a 4 week trial, Lee was handed an immediate custodial sentence, the length of which will be determined at a hearing later this month. (July 27th 2010)
