York City have beaten off interest from several league clubs to snap up winger Peter Till.
The 24 year old spent last season with Walsall in Coca Cola League One but has joined City in a one year deal.
Till also has league experience with Grimsby Town and was a key part of their set up under Alan Buckley where he was part of the side that played against MK Dons in the Johnstones Paint Trophy at Wembley.
Minstermen Manager Martin Foyle said that he was delighted to capture the winger having beaten amongst others both Burton Albion & Port Vale to the signing. "Peter gives us another option as he can hug the touchline and get crosses in for our strikers to feed on. I'm sure he will be agreat asset to the club".
Commenting immediately after signing, Peter Till said "I'm really pleased to be joining York and Martin Foyle was a key factor in signing the deal. He made it clear that I was really wanted by the club and I already feel part of York City. I can't wait to settle in at the club and get the season started".
