11:38am 16th April 2010

The ban on flights in England has been extended until 1am tomorrow.

The National Air Traffic Service says the cloud of ash from an Icelandic volcano continues to cover much of the UK.

It means no plane will leave Leeds Bradford airport today, for details you can check their website - www.leedsbradfordairport.co.uk

But some flights in Northern Ireland and the Western Isles of Scotland to and from Glasgow and Prestwick will continue to be allowed until 7pm today.
