Investigations will continue into the death of a 24 year old woman in Norton.
Police say Lois Waters took the legal high Mepedrone in the 48 hours before she died. They do not know if the drug was linked to her death though.
A post mortem will be held in the next few days.
Detective Chief Inspector Nigel Costello of Malton CID's told Minster FM "we would like to warn people about the use of the drug and its potentially lethal consequences."
Meanwhile, the government's chief drugs adviser, Les Iversen, has indicated that his panel will recommend m-cat be made illegal.
Professor Iversen said he expected a recommendation to be made to the Home Secretary next Monday when the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs meets to consider the issue.
