Car park attendant threatened with a knife in York

An attendant has been threatened with a knife at the NCP car park on Tanners Row in York on Friday 19th March.

He was then punched in the face - as the offender made off with some cash.

The offender is described as white, around 6ft tall with a stocky build. He was dressed in a black jacket, black jeans and black shoes and was wearing a balaclava and gloves which were also black.

The victim, a 43-year-old local man, did not require treatment but was left shaken by the incident.

Police have released new CCTV footage of the incident. They've told us the NIKE bag on the offenders back was also stolen in the robbery to put the cash in.
