Did You See a Red Subaru in York On Friday Night?
10:39am 26th November 2014
At around 8.10pm a woman aged in her 20s was walking along Windmill Lane towards Tang Hall when the Subaru drove alongside her very closely and then mounted the kerb. On two occasions the driver then got out of the car, went to the rear of the vehicle and then got back into his car.
The man did not speak to the woman and she was not hurt as a result of the car mounting the pavement.
However, police are concerned about the man’s behaviour and his well-being, they also want the man to explain his actions in driving so close to the woman. Officers are appealing for information to help identify him and for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
The man is described as white, aged around 40 and was wearing a baseball cap and a dark coloured hooded top.
The car is described as an old style Subaru in red with black markings on it.
If you are the driver of the car, can help identify him, or witnessed the incident, please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Andrew Pearson, or email Andrew.firstname.lastname@example.org
