York Man Found Dead in River Foss Named

The man whose body was pulled out of the River Foss in York at around midday on Tuesday has been named.
He was Leslie Bell, aged 63, from the Monkgate area of York.
A post mortem examination has been completed and the inquest is expected to open and adjourn next week.
Police enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding his death remains ongoing.
Although it is still not known how Leslie Bell ended up in the river, officers say there is no evidence to suggest the death was suspicious.
