£5 Million of Cocaine Seized From Plane at Breighton Aerodrome

Thirty four kilograms of cocaine, estimated to be worth around £5 million, has been seized from a light aircraft at Breighton Aerodrome.
It was found by officers from the Border Force at the airfield on Monday.
Today, a man appeared in court after being charged with attempting to import class A drugs.
51 year old Andrew Wright from Barlow, near Selby, appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court earlier and has been remanded in custody until his next appearance at Leeds Crown Court next month.
