UPDATE: Minster FM Has Found The Woman Who Helped Save A Man's Life

We are delighted here at Minster FM to say we have been able to help to put a family in touch with a woman who helped to save their fathers life.

Driving instructor Gill Oakes was at the Dormouse pub on Shipton Road on Saturday when her father, 83 year old Don, (pictured with his wife Rita) began to have a stroke. Luckily Gill picked up on the signs and called for help.

As this was happening, an ambulance was called and Don started to have a seizure. The resturant manager called for any diners who had medical experience and Sue offered her help, which Gill believes is a big part of why her dad is still here.

Now with Don on the mend, the Oakes family wanted to thank Sue personally.
