Brayton Primary School near Selby will re-open today after being closed in an asbestos scare.
But some older children will have to be taught at Brayton High School temporarily until the affected area has been fully cleaned up.
The primary school has been closed on Monday and Tuesday for tests after workmen damaged some asbestos-containing materials.
North Yorkshire County Council says the school has been shut purely as a precautionary measure but will re-open tomorrow after receiving the results of asbestos tests.
A full investigation is now taking place into how the incident occurred.
