Cyclists Warned To Be Careful Of Horses On Roads

Bicycles are being called "silent predators" to horses by the British Horse Society.

As more people in North Yorkshire take up cycling on the back of the Tour de France, more horses are being spooked by cyclists passing them.

It could lead to frightened horses sprinting down the street which is dangerous for the rider and anybody else on the road, as well as the horse.

Ken Miller from the British Horse Society has this advice for cyclists:
