Woman Injured by Can Thrown From Car in York

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hit by a can thrown from a car in York.

The woman, aged 22, suffered a minor injury to her leg when the can was thrown from a small silver car on Tower Street at around 9.15pm on 2 June 2014.

Following the incident the car continued its journey towards the city centre.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them with information.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for PC Hannah McPeake or York police.
