There's complaints in Thirsk about the aggressive mating behaviour of ducks at the local pond.
Visitors to Cod Beck say their children have been distressed on seeing the drakes forming partnerships.
The local authority's concerned it could effect this year's tourism levels.
The RSPB says it's a natural feature of the bird's courtship and we shouldn't be concerned.
