Allegations of a leak at the City of York Council

5:40am 11th February 2010
(Updated 5:44pm 18th February 2010)

Possible corruption at the council after allegations of a leak.

Yesterday Minster FM told you that two directors are loosing their jobs as six departments merge into four.

But some councilors claim, the decision on who should stay and go was made before they had the information.

Ken King walked out of a meeting yesterday, along with Labour Leader David Scott.

The pair refused to take part in accessing the cutbacks, calling it "a sham".

However The council in York's hit back at allegations of a leak.

Council Leader Andrew Waller says the cuts were a secret and anything else was gossip.
