Appeal After 60 Batteries Stolen From Selby

The batteries were stolen from the household recycling centre on Canal Road in Selby between 1am and 2am on the morning of Friday 16 May 2014.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious people, vehicles or activity in the area on Thursday night or early Friday morning, to contact them.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen the batteries being unloaded and anyone who has been offered them for sale or knows of their current whereabouts.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and pass information to the Force Control Room. You can also pass information to the officer who is dealing with the theft by email to Richard.stagg@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
