Trains between York and Scarborough are running again after a crash at a level crossing in Scampston.

First TransPennine Express are advising that the line has now been re-opened.

A normal train service is in operation between York and Scarborough but the train firm is warning smalldelays may still occur.

But it is advising customers to travel as planned.

Traffic firm INRIX tells Minster FM, the A64 should be running as normal with the train line re-opening and it is not expecting any delay with people switching to their cars.
