Malton Police Investigate as 400 Litres of Diesel Stolen From Lorries Near Helmsley

Malton police are appealing for information after a theft of diesel near the town.

It occurred overnight between Sunday 27 April and Monday 28 April 2014, from two lorries parked on the B1257 on the outskirts of Helmsley.

The thieves stole around 400 litres of fuel.

PC Julian Hook, of Malton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you noticed any unusual vehicles in the Helmsley area around the time of the theft, I urge you to contact the police straight away.”
