7:32am 10th January 2014

York police are appealing for information after an act of criminal damage in the city.

Police say it happened between Friday 20 December and Tuesday 24 December 2013, at the Conservative Offices, Poppleton Road.

Officers add that someone smashed a window at the property by throwing a rock through it.

PC Alan Collier, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you witnessed the damage taking place, or can help to identify those responsible for this act of utterly pointless act of mindless vandalism, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.”

Anyone who can help to progress this investigation should contact York police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Alan Collier. Alternatively, information can be emailed to alan.collier@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk

Or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting reference number 12130225297.
